Visiting the Chiropractor

Well, this week I've been experience some sharp pain in my back...mainly around my shoulders and neck. I've been trying to work it all out by swimming, stretching in the sauna and hot tub, and resting. Well, it hasn't really worked. The last three nights I haven't really been able to sleep...last night being the worst of all nights. So, this morning, I woke up and could hardly move. The alarm went off and I couldn't even roll over to turn it off...that's when you know things are bad. Then, it took me several minutes to actually make my way out of bed.

Using my brain for the first time this week, I decided that making an appointment with the chiropractor just might be a good idea. This morning, I called Dr. Neibert at the Backpain Chiropractic Clinic and they were able to get me right in. I will say that, though my pain is not completely gone, I feel MUCH better! I'm actually able to move and be comfortable, for the most part. I'm supposed to head back in on Monday morning for more adjustments.

Truth be told, I probably wouldn't have gone into the chiropractor if Emily and I weren't going to the Medeski, Martin, and Wood show at the Vogue this evening. So, my motivation was that I didn't want to stand around at an amazing concert in tremendous pain.

If you ever need to see a chiropractor, let me strongly suggest Dr. Neibert. Not only does he know what he's doing, he's a really great guy!
